Trenchless, so the yard stays put
Where the route allows it, lines get replaced or relined through small access pits instead of an open trench. Pipe bursting pulls a new pipe through the old one and is the method when the existing pipe is too far gone to line. Pipe lining, also called CIPP, cures a sleeve inside the existing pipe and is the method when the host pipe is cracked or rooted but still continuous. Which one applies is decided by what the camera shows, not by preference.
When to call
